You see, once you've received a DVD, it is yours, you can either retrade it, or keep it for good (this is great if you find a DVD that you really want). Now, here we have a straight DVD (and game) rental website, and what a great job they do to.

With over 40,000 titles, you know that they will have what you are looking, it's kind of like having a Blockbuster Superstore on your computer with you having 24/7 access to it.

It works similar as to how Peerflix works, as far as you setup your lists and what you want to watch (or select individual titles) and Intelliflix will send them straight to you (we'll explain about the shipping in little bit).

Now, Intelliflix has multiple forms of memberships where you can either have unlimited DVD titles, or you can do it via individual selection (the unlimited obviously works out better as far as price goes).

If you are a hardcore Anime lover, or you're into Action Sports DVDs, then TotalVid is where you'll want to hang out.

They in no way cater for the main stream DVDs, but they do a brilliant job of catering for the small niches like Action Sports, Martial Arts, Home Improvements, Instruction DVDs etc.

Now, TotalVid isn't really a DVD Rental site, but you can buy, and then download the DVDs straight away for a fraction of the cost (we're talking like 10% or something rediculous) or you can wait for the full DVD to arrive... personally, we'd rather just download it, get it quickly, watch it quickly, and for like 1/10 of the cost, why would you buy it?

A toned down, leaner, smaller, and well... small (yes yes we know, we couldn't think of another word) version of Intelliflix.

They've got a range of DVDs 15,000 strong (so about 1/3 of what Intelliflix is) with a much smaller userbase.

The prices are 'fairly' similar, nothing to write home to your mum about, so as far we are concerned, the only real reason you'd go with these guys, is two reasons.

1. They do have a slightly better website to use and follow, so that is one slight plus for them

2. You like to back the underdog. They are definitely a smaller site, but they do their job well, and if you can find your DVD within their 15,000 titles (to be honest, who the hell would watch 15,000 titles anyway?! - so quit complaining) then you'll find a happy DVD rental home with DVD Avenue.
